didn't work at all for us. We have cat scratch fever here and thought these pads would help. They are really difficult to detach from the backing and when we finally stuck the pads onto our furniture, the outward facing side is also very sticky. So if the ceiling or someone rubs the sticky part, it all goes bad. Transforms into a giant sticky ball of porridge and detaches from furniture. Basically it doesn't work, at least for us. Let's go back to the drawing board and look for something else. That, or we'll find new cats, haha. Unfortunately I don't recommend this one.
