This bottom edge was meant to be attached but was frayed so it was either torn or never sewn on. I bought it to have a new activity with my young children in a holiday home and didn't find any defect until we were ready to use it. We've tried to make do with hair clips to cover the bottom hem, but once you start stuffing beanbags into your bags, the bottom just falls apart. UPDATE: I received a replacement and had fun playing with the kids, but when it came time to roll it back into the round bag, it ripped in the same place my first one arrived! Now I know the first one I sent back for an exchange was already sent back by someone else before.
