The washing machine won't survive that!
The product says it's home washable so I did it before use because I don't like using bedding that hasn't been prewashed. I used cold water and my washing machine "linen". In several places the seams came undone and the filling came out. It feels like a waste of money. I've used the same machine to wash duvets with no problems. I wish I had read more reviews beforehand as this seems to be a common problem. The duvet itself looks and feels good, but if you do decide to buy one I highly recommend a dry clean. Or take a higher quality product.
