Review on Kotton Culture Alternative Comforter Microfiber Bedding by Jeff Bremmer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Extremely warm and simply plain Massive

Listed as the "King of Plus Size" and they're not kidding. Don't worry about your spouse grabbing the covers and turning you over, leaving you naked to the cold world. That's not all where it comes from and is stocked. Packaged in a box that's a little larger than a breadbox, when you open it and let it rise like good bread dough, you've got a mountain of blankets. It took a few hours to reach its full glory and wasn't as plump as I expected, but you can see it below. The cotton cover is very smooth but maybe a little flimsy as it's meant to be used in a duvet cover (assuming they make it that big). fixed by sewing the box. Shells are supposed to be a silencer, but I don't really feel a silencer. The filler can be in one big sheet, so moving it around won't be a problem anyway. Warmth: I bought this to replace an aging and cheap down and feather duvet that has lost its fill power over the years. Probably needs cleaning, but it costs more than it's worth, so follow that. While not as thick as I expected (maybe an inch thick), this baby is WARM. We left light wraps over the old blanket to help, but they are not needed on this item. Surprisingly warm and an absolute treat when you're inside and everything is getting warm. The cotton surface is soft and smooth to the touch and very comfortable to snuggle up to. There's also a solid weight that we both like for hibernation. The stitching looks nice and strong but only time will tell. No torn edges or messy edges. However, I think the price might be a little high, at least as has been shown at the time of this review. DO your due diligence and carefully review the reviews of this and others. At the California King, it hangs off the ground on three sides on a regular-height bed with a good amount of spring block. It might not be for everyone, but if you have a very high bed it's not a problem. The long side is almost three meters long, so check the dimensions. This thing also weighs almost ten pounds, so it's durable. I am very happy with it. We live in the Pacific Northwest and the nights can be cold and humid, but we're warm and cozy in it.
