Review on ๐Ÿ’ผ Streamlined Luxury: Discover the Decadent Minimalist Aluminum Wallet 8 Card by Roy Boone

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Extremely minimalistic

Background: I used to carry a wallet with a small window showing my ID. I wore it for five years. I was looking for a new card holder that would meet three requirements: (1) show ID (2) lightweight (3) durable. I am happy to report that this product ticks all three criteria so well that I now own four of them - one 4 card, two 8 card and one 12 card. A 4-card and an 8-card are aluminum and my 8-card and a 12-card are the titanium version. For the review I wanted to give feedback on both versions and why I keep buying them. The build quality is excellent. It is designed for rigid plastic or metal cards. It's not designed for soft laminated cards unless you're inserting them between two other cards. The stiffness of the product depends on the container to be filled. This means if you buy the 4 card version you will need 4 cards. If you buy the 8-card version, fill it up with 8 cards, etc. If you don't, the wallet will feel very weak. I've dropped my card holder onto concrete or other hard surfaces many times; A titanium finish will hold up much better than aluminum. On the other hand, aluminum is much lighter. I know that 10g vs 15g might not sound like much on paper, but you can tell when you're holding it. Slot." Personally, I double-stack a $100 bill in there for emergencies, and it fits perfectly without interfering with sliding cards in and out. I think the holder is designed for higher-numbered cards. Lots of credit cards cards are currently Flat plastic with numbers printed on them and that means you can sometimes squeeze an extra card in. Then you snap the card you want together.I also have a money clip but it also takes up the card slot and also makes this very minimalistic card holder bulky .Overall I like this one.You can't go wrong with either the finish or the color.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No productivity
