These shoes are super cute but they are too structured for early walkers. If you child can walk well and is doing a lot of outside walking, these are great shoes. The soles are thick and there is a lot of cushion, so they would be great for walking outside or walking long distances. However, if you child is just learning to walk, these shoes have too much structure for proper learning (they’d still be helpful if your child was going to be practicing outside though). Perhaps because of the additional cushioning, these shoes also seem to run a little small. Maybe once they break in they’ll be closer to the size that I bought (size 4).
