No, this isn't a wool scarf. I would think the price of the scarf would give that bit away because wool is a more expensive fabric than acrylic, which this scarf mostly is. That doesn't bother me at all. Makes washing a lot easier, honestly. But don't go buying this thinking it's wool.It's quite soft! I was actually surprised by how soft it is.The color is nice, too. I got the green one. I like the more neutral tone of the green on the "right" side, but looking at the other side, I am not that impressed with the color and I don't think of this as reversible, even though the listing claims it is. Maybe the other colors look better on their flip side than the green one does.I'm not even using this as a clothing accessory. I'm using it as a table runner, for which it works beautifully. But it'll work equally well to wear.
