In my opinion this is much better. It's nice to know that if I decided to play an MMO with complex macros, I would have everything I needed. This is the best mouse I've ever had, I've played with more expensive gaming mice and it lasts. So if you're looking for performance on a budget, this is a good place to start. The buttons on the side of the mouse are a bit small and I have rather large hands, but even in this situation I haven't had any particular problems with accessibility. Also, the custom binding allows you to disable the button so you don't have to use all 12 buttons if you don't want to. I really like having all the extra options.
