I have a 2010 Samsung 32 inch TV that supports 1080p and works fine. He's a little quiet. I never tested the ports and bought a soundbar. Because all modern televisions usually have an audio output. I ordered this because this TV didn't have an audio output and I only have an HDMI streaming device. After connecting the streaming device to it via HDMI and connecting the AUX audio cable to the speaker, I added power and then connected the HDMI to the TV. I then tested and disabled the speakers. He does his job very well. While I can't comment on the 4K output and haven't encountered any issues, I'll update this review after further use. For now I recommend it and it deserves its 4 stars .as it does its job and has no frills.
