I like the idea that it's metal as I'm not worried about breaking it like I am It's very effective on its own, throwing the ball close to you to hit the ground, or short and throwing it further with a slight uppercut to hit the outfield. I can easily hit 250 foot pop flies with almost no effort. The same goes for 15-foot dribblers. Be careful, use this BEFORE using it in front of your team or you will be laughed at. They take a lot more getting used to than the wooden ones I've used, but in my opinion they hit the ball better if you pick it up. Overall a really durable, easy to use mushroom
