Now I have a new porch swing
Very heavy fabric. My porch swing had become useless because the fabric forming the support for the swing had rotted out. Guests had literally fallen through. I used the rotten support to make a new one and now it looks like new and is much more study than the old one. Used regular thread to sew it. Took a while to do it but everyone was very impressed when it was finished. Will fix another swing next summer with the left-over fabric.
