I bought this set to add pillowcases to a set of quilts of the same pattern. Although I don't have a daybed, purchasing additional pillowcases/pads individually more than justifies the cost of this five piece set. I like to have a backup and more. And I LOVE this quilting pattern. The haircut is great. I am also very satisfied with the design. However, instead of placing the skirt and bedspread on the bed, I use them as kennel covers for my two dogs. Since I live in a small apartment, I need to save space. I was thinking of buying some of those expensive "furniture quality" dog kennels and using them as tables or something. But my dogs have to be on the same side of the room. In any case, it turned out very well. I have to be "tricky" with the blankets and they look amazing in the bedroom. Or at least they "merged" with my room and bedroom. I have extra fabric to cover some throw pillows if I ever get to it. I'll probably have to buy a dining table so I can use my sewing machine. Sigh. VERY happy with this purchase.
