Review on HyperX Alloy FPS Pro Tenkeyless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard: Compact & Clicky with Cherry MX Blue - Red LED Backlit! by Mike Brumfield

WOW! I am impressed.

HyperX has been a very pleasant surprise to me lately. I recently bought a headset from them and it was fantastic, so it was very tempting to see the Cherry MX keyboard at such a great price ($49.99 at the time of writing this review). To be honest, I'm just blown away by this keyboard. The build quality blew up my previous $130 Razer keyboard! Also, the true cherry blue keyboard is a lot better to type on than the unbranded Razer Green. I study English and History at my university and this keyboard has helped me improve my typing speed by about 15 words per minute, which has proved useful for many hours while typing various essays. The only criticism I would like to make about this keyboard is the quality of the keycaps. These are ABS keycaps, a lower quality plastic than the PBT used in many other more expensive keyboards. To be honest, for the price it's not enough to deduct a star. You can easily buy a PBT key set online for $20-$30. This price for authentic cherry blue keys couldn't be higher. All in all, a recommendation if you are looking for a keyboard that definitely lives up to the "less is more" principle.
