Review on Color Tree Universal Speedometer Windshield by Timothy Barnes

In general, I like the product! Bought for a 2012 Ford Focus. I bought this because I accelerate too easily and my previous car had a head up display which made it much easier to prevent accidental over-revving and I missed it. It is easy to read and it is not necessary to use a reflective foil, I generally like it better without foil. Some manual adjustments are required to match the speed and RPM to your vehicle. I found that after reading the manual and poking around a bit, it was really easy to figure it out and get it right. Difficult, yes, but easy. I didn't have any of the difficulties that other reviewers have mentioned adjusting the settings to my liking. The display is busy, so I set it to only show speed, RPM, and distance traveled. The rest was too much and rather unnecessary in my opinion, but I understand why others like additional information like fuel consumption or temperature. I love that it adjusts to my liking :) It also automatically adjusts the brightness, which is amazing. Perfect brightness and readability almost all the time, day and night without film. The size of the text on the windshield is also large. Not too big, not too small. The non-slip pad works better than I expected, but I could buy double-sided tape. There is double reflection on the windshield but it's not as bad as I expected and I haven't noticed any double reflection at all after a few weeks of use. The only real problem I had with the device was that it randomly turned off all the time. I realized the voltage was too low and it took me a while to figure it out. One of the pins in the OBD port must not have been tight. So I took a quarter and bent all the pins just a little bit. Very very little. And I'm glad the device has been working flawlessly ever since! :)
