I have an old Singer (45 years old!) that I have moved more than 2 dozen times, 5 of them in the original box and in a van. . After the last time I decided the box was more duct tape than cardboard and I'll look for some sort of replacement. This is the only bag I have found that is long enough for my car. It's also big enough that the winding rod doesn't poke a hole in the top or through the zipper. That it's also a fun print is definitely a bonus. I don't go back and forth on a sewing mug, so longevity isn't a big deal. With this bag I can store my car safely and conveniently in the closet and also be clearly visible when I take it out. or even leave it on your desktop for its appeal. I am very happy with my purchase. If I'm stupid enough to move again, I'll probably just wrap the bag in several layers of heavy-duty plastic bags. It's either that or I need a carpenter to replace the original box!
