The app needed to transfer the audio mix from the Soundcraft Impact Board to the PC so it could be combined with the video so our service could be streamed live on Facebook. This cable worked great and did exactly what we needed. 4 stars for sound quality as the broadcast sound was 90% lower than what we recorded on location. Quality of materials was 4 stars because the XLR connector was cheap but strong enough to stay in the aux out on the board. It is a great and easy solution to transfer audio to PC for recording or broadcasting. Very easy to set up and basically plug and play. If you need a power delivery solution, this works great. If you need power from a condenser mic or a mic that requires phantom power, no! You have to run this cable through the preamp to get there. It's worth buying and I can only recommend it.
