Twelve different adapters!

Once you find the right wiper arm and adapter, these wipers will work just fine. At least this brush comes with instructions you can read (unlike most). And all sorts of adapters for every type of wiper arm. Do you think this whole windshield wiper situation is totally out of control? I mean - 12 different adapters! Why can't manufacturers standardize on one type of wiper arm?
