To be honest, I already had a nice dog bed in my kitchen that my two medium-sized dogs really liked. However, when I'm sitting in my living room and watching TV, I want my furry friends to be with me. So I decided to find a nice oval bed for them to snuggle into a few feet from where I was seated. Judging by the photos, this bed seemed like the perfect solution. I mean it looked PERFECT. However, I had to return the first bed I bought because I chose the small size. As I said, I have two medium sized dogs. Maybe I was wrong in thinking that a smaller bed would be the perfect size for her. However, when I received the smaller size, I immediately saw that it was too small. I mean it's really, really small. I would have thought that only toy dogs would fit in a bed this size. No problem. I sent the bed back because of the larger size. NOW WE TALK! The larger bed was just what my two dogs needed. It's not too big. This is perfect for my burly pug with a few inches more interior space. This bed is very well made. I've read some complaints that it doesn't fit well and won't stand up on its own. It is not true. You need your dogs to stretch it to their liking. Believe me they will immediately come up, sniff and then shape with their paws. As soon as they get into bed, it more or less opens up around them. And this bed is SUPER SOFT. I wish my own bed was this luxurious. It simply asks your pet to come in. My two dogs take turns using it. Whatever dog is on my lap, it ends up in bed. They just lay their head on the edge of the hug, which acts like a very soft pillow. The photos I've attached will show you what I mean. I can't tell you what a perfect choice this bed was. This is everything my dogs and I hoped for. The color goes well with my carpet and the bed doesn't look out of place in the room. I don't see any dog that could resist its use. This really is the softest bed you can ever offer your faithful friend. Best of all, it looks sturdy enough to last a couple of years. Stop looking for other beds and get this one. Just take my sizing advice. If you don't have a toy dog, you need a larger size.
