Don't buy too early. It might break
It was an expensive item for me. So I didn't expect it to break after we've only wound it a couple of times. However, like any other mom who is pregnant for the first time, I bought it 2 months in advance so when we brought our baby home from the NICU 6 weeks later and was using it, it was too late to return the phone. So I bought another music box from a thrift store for 25 cents and built it so my kid could hear the music and watch the animals dance. I have to say the animals are of good quality, I loved the tune they played when they worked and they were stunningly beautiful and soft.
