The chains are copper plated.
Necklaces come with faceplates, they are copper plated and therefore the necklaces are not hypoallergenic. They don't mention it at all in the product description, even avoid mentioning it. If any part of the product or jewelry is hypoallergenic, it makes sense to make related products hypoallergenic, not copper! Stainless steel frame, chains or not but I give them one because they didn't state it correctly in their description. I will not buy from them again.
