These proved to be perfect to for winter riding (bike, both road and mountain). They look cheap (when you pick them up) due to how thin they are, but have proven to be very durable and the "thinness" was actually a huge help as it fits under a helmet with no issues at all. I've used them through the entire winter season of riding and love them. In extremely cold weather (snow), I simply put both pairs on at the same time. If they ever wear out (or I lose them, which is more likely), I'll order again.
