I bought these "pads" to absorb water or condensation in the summer. They're smaller than soda cans, but not for the better. What ends up happening is that a regular 16-ounce or 12-ounce water bottle can lean to one side and/or sit too high in the cup holder due to the extra height of the coasters. I'm not even sure if they are really absorbent or not because I was too busy worrying about the coasters.
