Review on FitTrack Dara Smart BMI Digital Scale - Accurate Bluetooth Glass Bathroom Scale for Weight and Body Fat Tracking (White) by Ronnie Segobiano

Inaccurate and not worth $$

I bought this scale because I wanted a white smart scale and it had good reviews. After using this scale I'm not sure why it has so many positive reviews. This scale is very imprecise. I weigh myself at the gym and I weigh myself at home on my current smart scale (a different brand). The difference between these two weights is approximately 0.2 pounds month-to-month. First, the Fittrack weighs 5 pounds more unpackaged than the other two scales. That's a pretty big difference. Second, if you weigh yourself multiple times in a row, this scale will show a different reading each time you step on it. Weight swings are sometimes 2-3 pounds at a time. How do you know how much you really weigh? Third, the scale also showed that my weight stayed the same day-to-day, and then he lost 2-3 pounds in one day, while my other scales showed a more consistent steady decline over several days. I also didn't like that it calculates your "ideal" weight and shows how far off you are from it. "Ideal" seems to be a basic calculation of your height and doesn't take into account muscle mass etc. Trying to match that number is impossible for most. I also had issues with it tipping to one side when standing on it, so I doubt its durability as it hits the ground hard afterwards. I'm returning it today, for $90 I expect a little more. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Too stupid
