I like that these towels have an elastic loop instead of a button and loop combo. This makes it easier to put on if you have a lot of hair - it's just a little more flexible. The towels are absorbent, but they don't dry my hair TOO quickly, so my bangs dry out weirdly while I'm getting dressed.
