These durable plates are easy to clean and have a raised rim to prevent food being placed on them. The colors are pale, pastel. Enjoyed them until we warmed up a hot pocket for 2 minutes. plate melted. We've used them in the microwave before but this is the first time we've seen this in 6 months. I wouldn't recommend it if you intend to use it frequently for microwave cooking. Perfect for everything else.
