The color of the pattern is very variable, some of the black spots on the pattern are not painted over. The panels also have black spots where part of the black color of the pattern has been transferred onto a white background. The bottom ring of the plate on the table is unglazed, and some dishes are prepackaged in the form of chips. These dishes are too expensive for every plate to have a problem. What a lovely set they would have made. I did not order as it is clearly a production issue.
