This is exactly what I was looking for. These pants are quite light, but very well made. The durable mesh construction allows airflow while you ride, and there's protective armor in key areas. At my height of 5'11 180, the large size fits me perfectly. The colors are long enough to cover cropped tops too. A hook-and-loop closure at the bottom keeps the pants secure, while a full-length leg zip makes them easy to slip on and off. I've worn them in 95 degree heat with no discomfort. The fixed parts of the pants protect against rain, but the mesh areas do not. If you have money or other paper in your pocket, it will get wet. There have been previous complaints of the waistband not closing and this must have been corrected. There is a hook and latch to keep you close and safe. They're perfect for hot weather protection and look pretty stylish too. I would give them more stars if they were available!
