After all the comments I was shocked to see how thick this case was! In fact, it's even thicker than the Neverland boot that came with my quad. I think the moral is don't be put off by all the comments saying the cover is too thin. I've bought many cases including layered custom cases for over $300. The thickness on this one is really above average! It is 2 times thicker than the other aluminum cover for my smart car that cost me 3 times more. I don't know if the company stepped up their game based on other reviews or if I somehow got an exception to the rule. In any case, I am very satisfied. This case made me a little pissed off why I pay more for cases that are almost the same size but less thick. I was already planning to double coat my Honda Fourtrax, especially with all the thickness comments, but that could be a good finish on its own. I also live in southern Arizona where we have some of the hottest temperatures in the country. Quality is good, lasts a few years. I can see the strap isn't SUPER strong, but far from weak. Just don't jerk like crazy, I don't have a problem with the winds, but I'm not in the windiest area either. The fit is too big for my Fourtrax but I specifically took the largest they offered. I've done a lot of covers and this one really makes me wonder why I've paid so much for so much less in the past. The cheap strap is the only SMALL downside, but it serves its purpose perfectly and doesn't get tangled. I will buy again.
