The charger is adapted to the type of battery to be charged. Just knowing that the manufacturer has made sure, and is proud that their charger works with a wide range of batteries, is reassuring. I used this charger to upgrade a smaller one from the same manufacturer. I like the built-in protection, but since these chargers are usually installed in hard-to-reach places, it's difficult to access them from all sides. The fuses are located on top of the charger and are secured with screws well recessed into the charger. Since the fuses are very well protected from accidental damage, it would be better to mount them from the front for easier access. If your batteries short, the fuses will blow to prevent damage to the charger and this has happened to me twice. All in all, this is a premium charger.
