When I received this iPod case, I put the iPod in the "back" half of the case first and it confused me because it was much larger than that iPod was, and it seemed that the case would be too big for him. Then I realized that you have to put the iPod in the "front” half of the case first. The iPod was a bit tricky to squeeze in there as the fit was PERFECT but after I put it in I was able to gently insert it into the silicone backing and the iPod feels very secure. I just bought it today so can't say much about durability but it feels secure and it seems like the silicone gives the iPod some mobility when dropped on a hard surface. Daughter rated it 5 stars for cuteness. All buttons and full screen mode are fully accessible. No foreign smells.
