Don't get me wrong, I love this thing, but I do have some issues on how it's made. The material is very thin- meaning 1,000's of tiny balls have already came out of it a couple of times on me. I am a smoker and I dropped a cigarette on it and picked it right back up immediately because I didn't want it to ruin it and just that quick a hole burnt in it. This thing would be VERY hard to wash because it is SUPER HEAVY. I'm not sure if the 20lbs means on your body at a time or if it's the total weight of the blanket. But it sure feels like 50lbs when you pick the whole thing up. I can barely lift it when I go to make my bed. It's long enough for a queen bed but only covers half of it if you lay it long ways which is weird if you sleep with a partner, you'll need separate blankets. I thought this was queen size because that's what it says it is but it's not.
