My 8 year old son loves it and is picky. I wanted to buy him a pair of cheap shoes to get through the summer instead of paying $55 for another pair of big brand sneakers. It is easy for him to dress and undress them as they enter and leave the house during the day. Also, the fabric seems to be a bit more durable than the fabric of other cheap shoes. Oh, and the laces are like elastic cords and he liked that. We will keep them.
