Use alkaline batteries
I've seen some people say it doesn't work - when I first put in regular zinc-carbon batteries it made a slight ticking noise but did nothing and I was very disappointed. I went to the store and bought some high energy alkaline batteries and now they work really well! He scares everyone who walks onto our bridge, sometimes even making me cringe knowing he's there and my kids love it. Initially, the motion sensor was sensitive and kept triggering, but now it works pretty well. It fires 9/10 times when you walk past it, although sometimes it doesn't fire when it's dark. Still a good outdoor Halloween prop. Also, the battery is not hard to find at all lol don't know why people say that π€·πΎββοΈ
