I washed it as soon as I received it (after making sure it would fit my bassinet of course) and it came out of the dryer soft and ready to use. They're not the softest we've had, but they're soft enough that I still don't plan on using our tote THAT long. They're a perfect match for our Fisher Price Stow 'N Go carrycot. I'm concerned they might get dirty if/when our baby has breakouts (she's not born yet so can't tell), but I knew that when I bought the bed sheets, which are mostly white. Definitely the best price of any bed sheet I could find.
