I'm remodeling my giant spice cabinet as previous bottle tops were silver plastic and some spices corrode silver. I like that they are square because they are stored closer together and don't slip off as easily when handling with wet hands. The glass is strong, the metal lids fit well, the plastic shaker lids also have a pouring tab and the labels are easy to write on with chalk. I don't like the silicone funnel because static electricity causes some small spices to stick to it. I use a folded piece of paper when putting spices in a bottle.
