It remains to be seen if my licensed electrician and the entire team of local building inspectors can figure out how to wire these lights to conform to the code. The 120V connection to the mains transformer must be a strong mechanical connection; like a wire nut; but the included clips fall apart at the slightest jerk. Replacing the terminals with appropriate cable nuts solves this problem but leaves the larger problem of locating the cable connection in a properly installed box. The lamps look great. They have a very slim profile and can be easily tilted and rotated to focus the beam. The blocks slide in and out of a hole in the drywall, so installation and replacement is a very nice do-it-yourself job. If they ever get installed they will be excellent. I really want these lights to work, but a room full of professionals is struggling to find a solution. When/when that's all done; either way; I will edit this post.
