The description says it has 2 DisplayPort version 1.2 ports (released 2010) which according to the VESA website should support 4Kp at 60Hz: Not true With VESA- Using certified HBR2 DisplayPort cables, a BenQ PD2700U monitor, and an HP EliteBook 850 G5 (Intel UHD Graphics 620), I couldn't exceed 1080p at 60Hz. Undocking and using the laptop's HDMI 1.4 port achieves the maximum specification, 4Kp @ 30Hz, so the monitor and laptop are not the issue. I called HP customer support and they said that docking on any port I couldn't get to would not exceed 2.5kb. I couldn't find an official written version specification, so nobody seems to know which one is actually supported. Too bad I've used this dock in the office with various laptops for years and it's very convenient, but it's always been less than 1080p. If you don't need 4K this is a great and durable product, better than those with a flimsy USB-C cable in my opinion. That's why I give 3 stars. But I spent an extra $800 on 4K monitors and I don't want to give them up now. i give it back
