I have supplied several of these beds from the manufacturer and they work great. But who would have thought that they are also induction chargers! Giselle (pictured) is getting older, but as you can see, a nice nap on a heating pad fully restores her energy. I only bought this as a heating pad to put under the microfiber blanket that I use on the long ottoman in my living room. All three of my cats love and sleep on it and I leave it on 24/7. However, keep in mind that the heater doesn't feel warm until it's put under a bit of a load - that's how often I see reviews where people say "It didn't get hot!" Put a pillow, weight, or cat (with suitable blanket) on it and then feel the warmth. Or just hold it in your hand for a while. I've had beds for years and they're still fine. It's important to put something between the rug and the cat - either in an existing bed or under the cat's favorite blanket. And don't use it in places where the cat can't escape when it's too hot. Once charged, your cat will be covering your entire house in no time - probably by four in the morning.
