If you are looking for something close to bird dogs, pay attention to these. At half the price, you really can't go wrong with it. The stitching pattern is the same as Bird Dogs, the zip pockets are the same, the lining is the same if not more comfortable. There are a few differences I could spot: they are slightly larger than Bird Dogs, which doesn't matter that much, they don't have a small logo on the back of the shorts near the knees like Bird Dogs. there are, and they don't have belt loops like khaki birdhounds. Also, the material is a bit different too - it's more stretchy/loose and a bit lighter than the material. To be honest you don't seem to be wearing any shorts at all when you put them on which to me is amazing. Seriously, I find them a little more comfortable than my hounds because they're lighter, more breathable, and more supple. I'd rather pay under $30 for a pair of these than $60 for a pair of gun dogs. I just wish there were more color options here, but other than that I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
