I used to put big name products on my S20 ultra with self-adhesive tempered glass and it was ok, but not great. The installation of this product was a little different. I watched the video about 10 times before trying to install it. Everything went great on the first try, I thought. When it came time to rescan the fingerprint, nothing was readable. I swear I followed everything up to the letter T. I made 4-5 attempts to rescan my fingerprint but nothing worked. I ended up watching the video again to see if I missed anything. Well this is where I forgot to leave the weight on the screen while using the UV light that made the difference. I filmed the first one and watched the video again and this time I did exactly what is shown in the video. Before I got around to putting the second protector on, I found they had given me an unripped one. One of them had a sticker with no plastic peel backing. It was just a little sticker in the corner. I couldn't use it because it had already accumulated a lot of dust. I finished reaching third defender and it was good. I applied everything exactly as I did the first time and used the weight during the curing process. I retrained my fingerprint for both thumbs and everything works great. It even worked better than the more expensive brand which, I won't mention, costs twice as much as this one. If it wasn't for that, everything would be perfect. The fingerprint reader reads 💯 of the time. I didn't have enough time to see if the tread could take some abuse before needing to be replaced again. I will buy another one in case the current one breaks. I hope I don't get another fool.
