Shouldn't have passed a quality check

First of all I have to say that I like the concept of this case. Sometimes the flaps on other suitcases are bulky, so it's nice to get a one-piece suitcase that can still stand on its own. On the other hand, the execution of the design leaves much to be desired. Mine had a manufacturing defect that caused the TPU edge to warp around the pen slot. It's not a material that can be easily shaped, so unfortunately it's immutable. The thickness of the case on the right side of the iPad provides a good grip, but the buttons don't match. The power button works with good feedback, but the volume buttons were often not felt when pressed, even if the device registered their activity. The pen holder is too tight, the plastic pen rubs against the metal iPad. In the long run I'm afraid of scratches. In my opinion, without a dedicated pen holder, Spigen should have stuck with the previous generation's design. If that doesn't hold up well enough (I've never had an earlier generation to know), as with Zugu, go halfway to keep the pencil safe. My only complaint about the stand is that it's difficult to get into position. Overall, Tough Armor is an unfortunate embodiment of good design. The price is ok for the price but I will be sending mine back. I'd be willing to try V2 if Spigen tries to fix their bugs.
