It became less soft after I followed the directions and didn't get as soft. Runs heavy, pills all over
I used a proper detergent made specifically for these towels, free from harmful chemicals and washed/dried them according to directions. I followed them because I know how any fabric can spoil with improper care. They crumble (lots of lint) and come out of the dryer LESS soft with very low height. This is the first recommended prewash. Now I'm afraid to put it against my car. I just got a bad pair shedding like a dog or what? At first they looked really good and I hope I just had a bad batch. Is there a replacement?
