I'm a very experienced hi-fi listener. I bought these phones to use with my PC but have tried them with my Denon AV receiver as well as my Samsung smartphone. First impression: dull highs, slightly confused bass (p. 50 - 120 Hz), needs more pronounced mids. After adjusting the graphic equalizer on my smartphone to boost the highs and mids, they sounded livelier and more pleasing to the ear. Comfort: The over-ear design fits snugly and relieves strain on the ears, but does get warm due to the lack of airflow to the ears. The pads could be softer - they are too hard. Fortunately, phones are lightweight but held upside down. Physical Structure: Metal and plastic, they appear to be quite durable, but this only affects long-term use. The cable is a bit thicker than other types - not a problem, can actually add to durability. Sensitivity - Seems average to me, I've used types of headphones that were both more and less sensitive. Conclusion: The purity of the high frequencies ("airiness") is missing. Best suited for pop and contemporary music where full bass will appeal to many. Rating value for money 3.5/5. I paid the equivalent of $45 for it.
