Review on Sericum Women's Silk Pajama Set - Long Sleeve Soft Nightwear with Long Pants, V Neck and Notched Collar, White Trim by Beth Allen

These are beautiful silk pajamas. I ordered light blue and I would say the color is more of a steel or navy blue with maybe a bit of green. I can't describe it exactly, but I think it pretty much matches the 'Niagara' color I found on the Panetone website. I'm 5ft 4" and usually wear a size 14 (sometimes 16 on brands that run small) and I ordered a size XL. compared to the dress size given in the chart, but the pajamas felt loose and comfortable on her, but they didn't completely overwhelm her (much longer than the model, but she's certainly taller than me) and the sleeves are wide as well a few centimeters longer + the pockets are a little smaller than I would like. The bottom is a bit short for me and I think they will be capri length on tall women. Silk fabric looks and feels good. I have 22 Momme silk scarves so I was wondering if it would be heavy enough for pajamas - and it definitely is!Made of high quality 6A silk fibers, the fabric has a beautiful drape and is smooth, soft and cool to the touch . The outside of the fabric is shiny and lustrous, while the inside (inside the pyjamas) is matte, as one would expect from fine silk. The pajamas are very nicely tailored, with clean, even seams, as well as many of the details you would expect from a quality sleepwear: nice buttons, perfectly finished buttonholes, V-neck collar, white piping on the edges and around the pockets. I pulled on my pajamas right out of the box, expecting to wake up in a crumpled mess. However, there were very few wrinkles (mainly from the seat) and they still looked good. The product description states that these pajamas should be hand washed, but the care label on the garment itself states that it can be machine washed (not tumble dried). I hand washed them in cold water and lined them up to dry and they came out very nice and didn't need to be ironed. These pajamas are pretty pricey at $139.99 so obviously I want them to look and fit perfectly. I was tempted to take a star off because the fit seems a bit off for someone my size, but the overall fabric quality and craftsmanship makes up for it in my opinion. These pajamas have been packaged in a fairly plain white box with the Serum logo, which opens to reveal a chic orange gift box, with the pajamas wrapped in fabric. These pajamas make a great gift (or just a great way to treat yourself - I'm saving for another set).
