Fits perfectly, is roomy and doesn't stick anywhere.
My dog is a lab mix, a very large 100 lb dog, but when it snows or rains his fur gets very wet. I'm sure he would be fine without it, but I prefer that it's more comfortable and drier. It's fairly easy to put on, well made, very large velcro panels for closure. I would have preferred it had a central access area on the back to attach it to a leash, which it didn't, but I cut one out and sewed a small flap to it so it doesn't get a lot of rain on it.
