So far this strap is way better than the more expensive ratchet straps I've bought before. This is the second one I've ordered. I've had the first one for a long time and wear it every day and have not yet had to trim the end where the claw attaches the buckle to the skin. I can't say the same of belts that cost more than double and are now useless because they are getting shorter by the day. If the lifespan of this strap changes I will change this review but so far this is the best ratchet strap I have purchased.
