We use it to mix with the wet food prescribed for our cat with kidney failure. Cats with advanced kidney disease need a low-protein diet, but most cats don't like them very much. Turns out churu treats are also quite low in protein, but way tastier! My cat is now eating more of the prescription food with some churu and is not losing weight as quickly. Our vet said it's more important that she actually eats than what she eats, so we think it's a great compromise.
