I love this blanket! It was a birthday present from my mom! I suffer from severe Rheumatoid Arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis) almost severe, as well as osteoporosis in both knees and a tear in the upper lip in the thigh! This duvet offers just the right amount of warmth for everything I need. I like the large size and dual controls. Mom and I share. She also suffers from a lot of pain, so we can both adjust her to our own comfort level. It doesn't look like a heating pad like I imagined, at first I was a little frustrated that it didn't get any hotter but then I realized that if it did, nobody would be able to withstand that heat for such a long time. It also has a timer up to 12 hours and adjustable heat 1-10. Although I've noticed it has a feature I can't figure out yet. But if you want it to go that long, I just set the timer to 12 hours. The cleaning part is easy and includes instructions on how to take perfect care of your duvet without damaging it! It has been the best investment in a blanket to date. We both love it so much!
