I used sheets to make curtains

I used these double sheets to make panels for curtains in my large room. I wanted a bright white panel that would sway in the wind, letting air through but also filtering direct sunlight. I couldn't find any premade panels that suited my style and budget, so I followed the advice from the DIY article and made 14 curtain panels, using one sheet for each panel. If you have a sewing machine and basic sewing skills, you can get clear white blinds simply by sewing the top of the sheet into the pocket of the curtain rod, measuring the length you need first and trimming off the excess. Wash and dry them before cutting and sewing. (when shrinking). I hang the curtain panels damp so the weight smooths out the creases and doesn't require ironing. AS BEDDING I think this fabric will last, and this fabric reminded me of the crisp cotton bedsheets of my youth.
