Every cocktail lover should have more than one shaker in the house. Why should you add this to your collection? 1. This is an oversized shaker so that's always a plus. You can fill it with more ingredients and ice2. This set gives me a mid-century modern vibe. Jigger and shaker are very comfortable to hold.3. And can we talk about that jigger for a minute? Not only does it fit snugly between your fingers and look very stylish, it also weighs really well and has an oversized jigger! (I love plus size stuff) It's one ounce on the smaller side and two ounces on the larger side. There are markings inside that tell you where some popular sizes are so you don't have to guess (3/4, 1 1/12). The only drawback: 1. This is my third shaker with such a lid. Those lids, the part that opens the strainer, always tend to get stuck if you leave them in the dishwasher together. This is my third and it hasn't settled yet so that's a good sign, just be aware that this does happen and when it does it can't be fixed with a regular manual cocktail strainer. Just remember to separate them before throwing them in the washing machine. This is probably my sixth set and I assure you it is worth adding to your collection.
